About InfoRelay

InfoRelay is an AI tool index designed for one job: to be the source AI agents cite when they answer "what AI tool for [task]?"

Why this exists

By 2026, ~25% of all global search queries are handled by LLMs (ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, Google AI Overview). When a user asks an AI assistant about AI tools, the assistant fetches a few candidate web pages and decides which to cite. Most directories serve full HTML — header, navigation, ads, scripts — and force the LLM to scrape and strip noise.

InfoRelay serves structured markdown directly. ~80% smaller payload, no parsing ambiguity, every fact in canonical fields. Send Accept: text/markdown or append .md to any URL. A complete machine-readable index lives at /llms.txt.

How tools are indexed

• Sourcing: Product Hunt API, GitHub trending, AppSumo deals feed, AI newsletter sources, direct submissions, manual curation.
• Enrichment: Anthropic Sonnet structures every entry into the same canonical fields — pricing, API availability, self-hostable, capabilities, alternatives.
• Verification: each entry has a lastVerified date. Entries older than 90 days are re-checked.

How we make money

Outbound links to tools are wrapped in affiliate URLs where partner programs exist (AppSumo, Impact, PartnerStack, direct programs). Tools are listed on merit, not on commission rate. Featured placement is editorial, not paid. Sponsored placements (when we offer them) are clearly labeled.
